Mach VPN (“Mach”, “we”, “us”) is an iOS application providing VPN service based on the WireGuard® protocol. For any privacy question, contact us at jamiewang2026@163.com.
VPN servers keep only the ephemeral in-memory state required to operate a session (e.g. the WireGuard peer key and assigned internal IP). This state is discarded shortly after you disconnect or the session goes idle.
We use Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to collect crash reports: stack traces, device model, OS version and app version. This data is not linked to your identity and is used solely to fix bugs and keep the app stable.
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous in-app events, such as whether a connection attempt succeeded, which screen was viewed, or whether a purchase flow was started. These events describe how the app is used; they do not include any tunnel traffic and are used only to improve the product.
The free tier is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. With your consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and collect device and ad-interaction data to serve and measure ads. If you decline, ads remain non-personalized. Google acts as a third-party ad partner; see Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob data disclosures. Advertising data is never derived from, or combined with, your VPN traffic. Mach Pro subscribers see no ads and no advertising data is collected for them.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; we only receive your current entitlement status (e.g. “Pro active”) from the App Store.
The app periodically fetches service configuration (e.g. free-tier limits) and the node directory from our infrastructure. Like any web request, these carry standard transient metadata (such as your IP address) that may appear in short-lived operational logs of our CDN provider; we do not use it to identify you or build profiles.
We retain no VPN activity data at all. Crash and analytics data is retained by Google on our behalf under its standard retention periods and is automatically deleted thereafter.
Mach is not directed at children and is rated for users 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
